Walter Lewis has been managing and directing the Corporate Fitness Challenge Program at the Society for Human Resources Management since 2012. A former employee of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and bronze medal award recipient, Walter worked as a Management Analyst for 13 years. He understands the life of a busy professional and the struggle to eat healthy, exercise consistently, and perform at a high level on the job. The untimely deaths of his grandparents and passion for fitness prompted him to leave the corporate world and become a full-time Fitness Consultant.
With over 20 years of experience as a Fitness Consultant, Walter has a proven track record of helping executives and corporations achieve optimal health and fitness. Some of his notable successes include leading Gaylord National Harbor Hotel to become the 2nd ranked healthiest employer in 2012. He’s also conducted corporate fitness programs for companies such as Boeing, Mitre Corporation, Budget Blinds, The Vitamin Shoppe, Henry Schein, and Westin Hotels just to name a few. Walter is the co-author of the new book “The 4 Healthy Habits of the Highly Effective Busy Professional.” His new mobile app “Walter Lewis Fitness Solutions Breakthrough App” has been very effective in helping busy professionals all over the world train with Walter virtually and get into the best shape of their lives.
